Brief Bio for Dr. Siyang Zheng
Dr. Siyang Zheng is an Associate Professor in the department of Biomedical Engineering at the Pennsylvania State University, University Park, PA, USA. He received his B.S. in Biological Sciences and Biotechnology from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China in 1996, received his M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University, University Park, PA, USA in 2000. He worked as a Member of Technical Staff I for Lucent Technologies at Holmdel, NJ in 2001. He received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the California Institute of Technology, Pasadena, CA, USA in 2007. He continued with his postdoctoral study until the end of 2008 at the California Institute of Technology. Among other honors he was awarded the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Director’s New Innovator Award in 2012.
