Neuroimaging

The goal of our neuroimaging research is to understand the brain function at normal and pathological conditions by utilizing cutting-edge functional neuroimaging approaches. We develop technology and applications for the purpose of characterizing different aspects of brain function and brain disorders. In particular, we focus on small animal models and combine imaging, behavioral and genetic/molecular measurements. Facilities include high field MRI (7T and 14T) scanners at the Penn State Center for Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
